  • Can I hang Acanvas in landscape mode?

At this time Acanvas is unable to switch into landscape mode. Our retractable charging solution is only able to lower and retract in portrait mode. However we understand this could limit options for hanging certain pieces and we are already looking into other shapes and styles for future product lines. For an expansive landscape view, try an Acanvas tryptych configuration for larger walls.

Acanvas is free volt at: 100~240, 50/60Hz, so it's compatible with any country's power system, however an adaptor may be required for some countries. When shipped to the US, Acanvas will come with standard US plugs, while those shipped to Korea will come with standard Korean plugs.

  • Does Acanvas support videos or GIFs?

At the moment Acanvas does not support videos or GIFs. Our mission is to bring art into the home, so we initially wanted to focus on creating a platform that exceeds at displaying still art. That being said, we look forward to expanding Acanvas’ features in the future! Tackling videos and GIFs is next on the list!

  • Do I have to hang my Acanvas art display directly above an outlet?

No. Acanvas’ charging dock has an 11ft cable that plugs into an outlet, allowing you to place Acanvas almost anywhere in your home. However, Acanvas’ charging dock needs to be placed directly below the frame.

  • Where can I see the list of artwork currently available on the Acanvas app / Art Stations?

We're working closely with content partners such as Fine Art America, which is an online art marketplace that houses millions of artworks ranging from classic, contemporary, to digital works. We have a curator on staff who is working to pull all of these great images into Art Stations within the Acanvas app. So you will have plenty to choose from! The Acanvas website will also enable users to remotely browse and select Art Stations and individual artworks easily. In the future, we’ll look to develop and grow a community of featured artists within Acanvas as well.

  • Would Acanvas work with Flickr, RSS feeds, Instagram, or other social media photo sharing sources?

Eventually, yes. Our team is looking at different ways of integrating social outlets into the Acanvas experience. We are pretty excited about the possibilities here, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
